I am taking a gap year to explore my interests in the interface between animals, ecosystems, and human communities. I will be working with a variety of internationally-based scientists and researchers to understand more about how to reverse the current devastating effects humans are having on the environment and endangered species.
To prepare for the gap year, I have read, researched, and watched lots of documentaries on this subject that have contributed to my knowledge. Since this has been my passion for many years, I have researched all kinds of materials on animals, plants, conservation, biology, and travel. All of this research will help me collect the necessary data to find solutions to these issues. I have prepared for this gap year my whole life, and the end result will enable me to become a respected voice in the conservation movement.
